We’re eating… Pan-fried Peri-Peri Pasta (PPPP)

Just some days ago I had some extra Peri-Peri sauce from making Peri-Peri Prawns and I’d been wondering what to do with it. Tossing it with some pasta seemed like a good choice! And so I did.

To make this Portuguese-inspired pasta more authentic, I threw in some fresh pineapple cubes alongside minced garlic, a bunch of chopped onions, and bean sprouts (a little blasphemous but I wanted the crunch of the sprouts). A dash of chilli powder, a sprinkle of salt, a little olive oil… And this is it! Nothing too fancy, just one of my little curious experiments in the kitchen. And I am glad it turned out quite well, albeit a little too spicy because I crazily went overboard with the chilli powder.

On a side note, I really appreciate creative-experiments-turned-good in the kitchen, because every successful attempt at a certain dish is often saddled with a few prior failures. Like the Ginger Milk Pudding that failed 3 times before I succeeded on the fourth attempt. So I’m always especially happy whenever something turns out decent on the first attempt! :)
